Kathleen Piccione

Wisconsin born artist, Kathleen Piccione’s early love of realism was influenced by such artists as James Bama and John Waterhouse. Working in pencil and color pencil for years she finally branched out into acrylics then finally to oils which is her current medium of choice. Piccione is a self taught painter and has developed a style that is unique because of that. She chooses to depict the subjects she is passionate about such as Native Americans, Saints, and animals (especially horses). She uses the canvas as a means to teach about cultures and people who may be gone but should never be forgotten. Piccione currently resides in Wisconsin and Arizona
